I teach and perform classical violin and viola. I also perform in the Indianapolis Ceili Band, Mother Grove, and Whiskey Verbena and teach fiddle styles.
Chantal Incandela studied at Indiana University as a double bass performance major, under the tutelage of Bruce Bransby and Lawrence Hurst. She plays in the Anderson, Muncie, and Lafayette Symphony orchestras, in addition to keeping an active teaching studio. She also writes for NUVO Newsweekly, as a classical music critic.
Education includes a B.S. in Music Education, an M.M. in Violin Performance and I have 28 years of private teaching experience. I am a sub with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and do a lot of free-lance recording work, but I love to teach so I maintain a teaching studio of approximately 40 students out of my home. I live on the south side of Fishers near the intersection of Allisonville Road and 106th street. I am most easily reached by e-mail but will always return phone messages.
