SHOW CHOIR BOOT CAMP 2008

Show Choir Boot Camp for Sweet Sensation and Central Sound begins on Monday, August 4th and lasts through Thursday, August 7th. It runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and is held at Lawrence Central High School.
.....To participate, members must register for this activity at the Performing Arts Office, and payment for the camp must be received by August 4th. To make arrangements, contact Karen McLellan in the Performing Arts office as soon as possible.
.....When registering, please provide student's shirt size for a Boot Camp T-shirt.
.....Your student's registration ensures proper staffing and enough food for everyone. 'Looking forward to a fun and successful camp!

STATE FAIR FUNDRAISING UPDATE

JULY 23, 2008 -- For those individuals who have signed up for this fundraiser, orientation sessions will take place on Saturday July 26th at 10am and/or Sunday July 27th at noon, and will be held in the Farm Bureau Building located at the north end of the Fairgrounds.

.....There's a new search engine in town, and this one raises funds for nonprofits like the LCPAA everytime it gets used. It's called "goodsearch." Use it like Google. It even allows you to see how much money you're raising for the organization. More...LCPAA MEETING.....Our next meeting will take place on Monday, August 4th at 7:45 p.m. This is a week earlier than when the standard monthly meetings are held.
.....LCPAA meetings provide an opportunity to learn more about our organization and receive updates on all events and activities, as well as to network with other parents and guardians, and explore fundraising and volunteer opportunities.
FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY THROUGH PROGRAM AD CAMPAIGN All performing arts students and parents are encouraged to participate in this year's program advertising campaign, which runs from June 24th through October 1st.
.....This campaign raises funds for the Performing Arts Department, and helps offset account balances for participating students.
.....Programs containing paid advertisements are distributed during five performing arts events throughout the school year; this provides an opportunity for sponsors to have their advertisements viewed by over five thousand people.
....Thirty percent of each ad sale is credited to the participating student's account. .....Parents who wish to participate, or have their student participate, are required to provide their name and contact information by clicking the "Order Ad Packet" button below. (This will take you to a new screen entitled "Sign Guest Book.").....Packets will be prepared and made available in the Performing Arts Office after June 23rd. All information regarding the campaign is in the packet. For those who are unable to pick up packets at the school, arrangements may be made by contacting coordinator Teri Searles at tsearles@talktotucker.com.
