JULY 2, 2008 -- There's a new search engine in town, and this one raises funds for nonprofits like the LCPAA everytime it gets used. It's called "goodsearch." Use it like Google. It even allows you to see how much money you're raising for the organization. Every click helps support the programs offered through LCPAA. STATE FAIR FUNDRAISING UPDATE

JULY 23, 2008 -- Hello everyone! I hope that you are excited about the upcoming 2008 Indiana State Fair!
.....Orientation sessions take place on Saturday July 26th at 10am and/or Sunday July 27th at noon, and will be held in the Farm Bureau Building located at the north end of the Fairgrounds. Signs will be posted indicating where to park.
.....Shift assignments are now posted in the Lawrence Central band hallway. The LCPAA is contracted to fill all the assigned slots, so it is extremely important that you arrange for a substitute if you cannot make your assigned shift.

.....Although volunteers are not required to attend orientation, they are strongly encouraged to do so. Not only will your group be learning exactly what they will be doing at the Fair, but each individual will also receive compensation towards their performing arts account for their orientation attendance.
. ...There is no need to attend both sessions -- just one. When you sign in for the orientation, give your name and identify yourself as part of LCPAA.

Burd Ford Helps Raise LCPAA Funds
.....The Burd Ford Dealership and Service Center located on Pendleton Pike off of 56th Street has registered the LCPAA to receive 3% of any car service sales (appointment or walk-in). Whether you just need an oil change or major repairs, mention the LCPAA when paying your car service bill, and you will help support our program and our students!

Online Fundraising Orders Begin
Again on November 1st.

About Performing Arts Fees
.....Performing arts account payments may be either mailed to the Performing Arts Office (check only), or hand-delivered (cash or check) to the PA Office or to any PA director. Checks should be made payable to "L.C.P.A.A." Payments may also be made in person or by phone using a major credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover).
.....Written or computer-generated receipts will be issued at the time of payment.
