The Performing Arts Department at Lawrence Central offers three levels of dance classes:  Beginning (M6), Intermediate (M8) and Advanced (M7).  The beginning and intermediate classes offer students a strong foundation of strength, flexibility and technique.  Choreography is explored at an appropriate level for each class, with students being challenged to achieve their potential within their talent and ability levels.  Advanced students continue their technical training, but also have a strong focus on choreography, interpretation and performance.  The classes are taught by Jackie Virgin and Tod Hinton.
