Robert Sheldon Clinic (January 21, 2010)
The LC Wind Ensemble has been invited by composer Robert Sheldon to serve as a clinic group at the Indiana Music Educators Conference on January 23 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The clinic will be “The Music of Robert Sheldon” and the Wind Ensemble will be reading several of his compositions during an hour long program.  Again, the date is Saturday, January 23 and the time is 11:30 am.  Students should plan to be at school by 9:30am to change into concert attire and travel via school bus downtown.  We should be able to return to LC by 1:30pm.  We realize this was not originally on our performance calendar, but we feel it is a great honor for the students to do this and we know they will have a good time working with Robert Sheldon.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Parents will be allowed to attend the clinic as a spectator and we will have more information regarding that as the date approaches.
