Parents Needed for Concert Band & Orchestra Festival (March 8, 2010)
Mr. Greenwell is the official host for
the Concert Band and Orchestra Festival
on Wednesday, March 17. He is requesting parent
volunteers who are able to assist with the following items:
1-2 People - Director Check-In (8:30 am-4:30pm):
Responsibilities include checking groups in, arranging a space for storage of
their instruments in the HOF, collecting conductor's scores for the performance,
and re-packing this for directors to pick up after clinics and performances
1-2 People - Lunch for
Clinicians
(7:30 am-8:00 am) and (12:00-2:00pm): coffee and donuts for clinicians' meeting
in the PA Office Conference Room; prepare/or accept delivery of lunch if
catered, prepare drinks, etc., for serving in PA Conference Room; drinks and
snacks for upstairs balcony area for clinicians
1-2 People - Serve as Judges' Assistants/Runners
(8:15am-3:30pm): Responsibilities include taking conductor's scores from
Director Check-in to upstairs balcony and bringing back completed score sheets,
tapes and conductor scores to Director Check-in for processing; get judges
anything they need (snacks, sharpen pencils, etc.)
